There is an urban legend that adheres to the belief that taking a photograph takes part of ones' soul. 1. You have been on DA for 9 years and your work has come a long way, but what first brought you to DA and what keeps you here ?
9 years ago I didn't have that many friends with whom I could share my art and hobby outside of the internet. While my family always supported me and my art I also wanted feedback from other (unbiased) people as well.
And I saw many great pieces of art always being posted on DA. So one day I just took the courage and signed up as well.
I admit there are good times and bad times here on DA, but the good times outweigh the bad ones.
What makes me stay is the opportunity to stay in touch with my (online) friends, exchange ideas with a great community, the possibility to share my art with a lot of people of varied interests, skills, tools of trade. I learned so much from the experience of other artists via tutorials or questions they replied to.
And I hope to learn much more in the future, too. That’s why I’m staying here
